If Price Clicker no longer fits your needs, cancelling your account is straightforward. This guide covers the cancellation process, what happens to your data, billing implications, and alternatives you might consider before cancelling. We make cancellation transparent and fair—no hidden fees, surprise charges, or retention tactics.
Before You Cancel: Alternatives to Consider
Cancellation is permanent for your subscription access, so consider whether one of these options meets your needs instead:
- Downgrade your plan: If cost is the concern, switch to a lower tier under Account → Subscription → Change Plan. You keep your profiles and lead history at a reduced monthly rate.
- Cancel at period end: If you need a break but might return, choose Cancel at Period End rather than cancelling immediately. You retain access through the end of your current billing cycle and can reactivate before it expires.
- Deactivate profiles: If you only need to pause lead collection temporarily, deactivate individual profiles instead of cancelling your entire account.
Pro Tip
Export your data before cancelling. Once your subscription ends and your account is removed, you may lose access to leads, profiles, and billing history in the dashboard.
Export Your Data First
Before cancelling, download anything you want to keep:
- Leads: Go to Leads and click the export icon to download all leads as CSV. You can also select specific leads and export only those.
- Profile configuration: From the Profiles page, export individual profile data using the export option on each profile. This preserves your questions, rules, and settings for your records.
- Billing history: Review past invoices under Account → Subscription before your access ends.
Store these exports somewhere safe outside Price Clicker. They are your backup if you need lead contact details or want to rebuild a form elsewhere later.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
Follow these steps to cancel from your dashboard:
- Log into app.priceclicker.com
- Go to Account → Subscription
- Click Cancel Plan
- Choose how you want to cancel (see below)
A confirmation modal offers two options:
Cancel at Period End (Recommended)
This sets cancel_at_period_end on your Stripe subscription. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period, and no further charges are made after that date. Your subscription page will show Cancels on [date] so you know exactly when access ends.
This is the best choice if you want to finish out the month you have already paid for, wrap up active leads, or leave the door open to change your mind.
Cancel Immediately
This ends your subscription right away. Your Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately, plan access is removed, and monthly charges stop. Use this only when you are certain you no longer need the account.
What Happens After Cancellation
When your subscription is cancelled—whether at period end or immediately—the following applies:
- Billing stops: No further monthly charges are processed after cancellation takes effect.
- Plan access ends: Your plan is set to none and you lose access to paid features such as active profiles, new lead collection, and integrations.
- Embedded forms stop working: Public forms linked to deactivated profiles will no longer accept new submissions.
- Data retention: Export your leads and profiles before cancelling if you need them. Account deletion is a separate, irreversible action under Account settings that permanently removes your subscriber record, profiles, and associated data.
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as deleting your account. Subscription cancellation stops billing and plan access. Full account deletion permanently erases your data and cannot be undone.
Reactivating Your Subscription
If you chose Cancel at Period End and your billing period has not yet expired, you can reverse the cancellation:
- Go to Account → Subscription
- Click Reactivate
Reactivation removes the cancel_at_period_end flag from your Stripe subscription. Your plan continues normally and you will be billed on your usual renewal date. The Reactivate button only appears while a pending cancellation is scheduled—once the period ends and the subscription fully cancels, you will need to subscribe again through the upgrade flow.
Deleting Your Account Entirely
If you want to permanently remove your Price Clicker account—not just stop billing—go to Account → User and use the account deletion option. This cancels your subscription, deletes all profiles you administer, and removes your subscriber record. This action cannot be undone.
Only delete your account after you have exported any data you need. If you are unsure, cancel at period end first, export your records, and delete the account later if you decide not to return.
