Price Clicker can alert you the moment someone submits a profile form—by email, text, or mobile app push. This guide shows where to configure those settings and how each notification channel works.
Why Notifications Matter
When a prospect submits your pricing form, they may be comparing multiple providers at the same time. Notifications help you respond while the inquiry is still fresh, instead of discovering submissions only when you check the Leads page manually.
Pro Tip
Enable push notifications and install the Price Clicker mobile app if you are often away from email. Push alerts reach you immediately without relying on inbox delivery.
Where to Configure Notifications
Notification settings are per profile and per user. Open the notifications page at:
https://app.priceclicker.com/profiles/create/notifications?profile=YOUR-PROFILE-ID
You can also reach this page from the Profiles list by clicking the bell icon on a profile card. During profile setup, the notifications step appears after Access (for new profiles) or is reachable from Rules (for active profiles).
Each team member with access to a profile configures their own notification preferences. Delegates who only have notification permission can open this page, save their settings, and return to Profiles without editing the rest of the profile.
Notification Controls
The page presents one master toggle and three channel toggles:
Receive Notifications (Master Toggle)
Turn this on to get notified when someone submits that profile's form. When it is off, no notifications are sent for that profile regardless of the channel toggles below.
Via Email
Sends an email to your Price Clicker account address when a new submission arrives. The email includes lead ID, contact details when available, submission time, and a link to view the lead on the Leads page.
Via Text
Sends an SMS alert to the phone number on your account. Enable this if you want text-message notifications for new submissions.
Via Mobile App Push Notification
Sends a push notification to your mobile device through the Price Clicker app. You must have the app installed and be signed in to receive push alerts.
Channel toggles are disabled until the master Receive Notifications toggle is on. Turning the master toggle off also clears all channel selections.
Important Note
Price Clicker does not offer daily summary emails, weekly digests, or separate notification email addresses per profile. You choose email, text, push, or any combination—and notifications go to your own account contact details.
How Settings Are Stored
When you click Save, Price Clicker stores a compact preference string for your account on that profile:
none— notifications offe— email onlyt— text onlym— mobile push onlyet,em,tm, oretm— combinations of the above
If the master toggle is on but no channel is selected, the setting saves as none until you enable at least one channel.
Setting Up Each Profile
Repeat the configuration for every profile you want alerts on. A high-priority service line might use email plus push, while a secondary profile might use email only—or no notifications at all.
There is no global "notify these email addresses" list. Each person with profile access sets their own preferences. If multiple team members need alerts, each should sign in and configure notifications for that profile individually.
Testing Your Notifications
After saving, submit a test quote through your live form at form.priceclicker.com and confirm alerts arrive on the channels you enabled. Check these common issues:
- Email landing in spam—whitelist
notifications@mail.priceclicker.com - Master toggle off or no channel selected
- Push not arriving—confirm the mobile app is installed and signed in
- Text not arriving—confirm your account phone number is correct
What Notifications Do Not Cover
Profile notifications alert you about new form submissions only. Price Clicker does not send automatic emails when you change a lead's status, mark a lead resolved, or update provider approval. Those actions stay on the Leads page—use your normal follow-up process outside Price Clicker for status updates to customers.
Best Practices
- Respond quickly — acknowledge new submissions promptly, even if a full quote takes longer
- Match channels to your workflow — use push or text when you are in the field; email when you work from a desk
- Configure every active profile — settings are independent; do not assume one profile's alerts cover another
- Re-test after changes — submit a test lead after updating toggles to confirm delivery
Troubleshooting
Notifications Not Arriving
Verify the master toggle and at least one channel are enabled for that profile under your account. Check spam folders for email. Confirm your account email and phone are up to date under Account Settings.
Only Some Profiles Notify
Each profile requires its own configuration. Open notifications for the specific profile ID and save your preferences there.
Delegate Cannot Edit Profile but Needs Alerts
Delegates with notification-only access can open the notifications page and save their channel preferences without editing rules or branding.
Conclusion
Notifications are configured on /profiles/create/notifications with a simple master toggle plus email, text, and push options. Set them up per profile, test with a real submission, and respond quickly when alerts arrive—that is the fastest way to convert Price Clicker leads.
